Precipitated Silica Production Line
Precipitated silica (referred to as white carbon black) is a commonly used reinforcing agent in the rubber industry, its chemical name is hydrated silica (SiO2,) or colloidal silica. Because it has a reinforcing property similar to carbon black in rubber and is a white powder or small particle. So people also call it white carbon black. At present, most of the preparation methods of white carbon black are the chemical reaction of sulfuric acid solution and sodium silicate solution. Therefore, the white carbon black obtained by the method has good performance and low cost.
White carbon black is the most widely used in the rubber industry, and it is the best reinforcing agent for colored rubber or transparent soles in the production of rubber shoes. It is commonly used in tire production to improve the viscosity of the rubber to the skeleton material or fiber. It can not only improve the hardness and wear resistance of vulcanized rubber, but also improve the adhesion between rubber and metal roller core. Most of the white carbon black is used in the rubber industry, only a small part is used in other industries, such as pesticide excipients, and ink, paint, plastics, daily chemical products are also commonly used white carbon black, but the amount is not large.
